To solve this problem, a rotating-magnet based mechanical antenna for VLF communication is designed in this paper. This novel antenna makes full use of the excellent self-property of the permanent magnet material. The successful generation of time-varying magnetic fields produced by a 6 mm 3 permanent is shown.
